Welcome to Chumbak OTT. By accessing or using our website (thechumbak.com), mobile applications, or streaming services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please review them carefully before subscribing.
1. Eligibility & Age Restriction
Chumbak OTT offers curated digital entertainment. You must be at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to purchase subscriptions or view mature content. Minors may access the service strictly under parent or guardian supervision.
2. Account & Security
Account registration is authenticated via a verified mobile number and SMS One-Time Password (OTP). You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your session. You agree to notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access.
3. Subscription, Billing & Renewals
- Subscription Plans: Pricing and billing intervals (Monthly, Quarterly, Annual) are clearly presented prior to checkout.
- Payment Processors: Web purchases are securely processed via authorized Indian payment aggregators (including Cashfree). Mobile app purchases may be fulfilled through Google Play In-App Billing.
- Access Entitlement: Upon successful transaction confirmation, access to the applicable streaming tier is provisioned immediately.
4. Intellectual Property & Prohibited Use
All audiovisual content, graphics, audio tracks, and trademarks available on Chumbak OTT are the intellectual property of Chumbak OTT or its licensed studio partners. You are granted a limited, personal, non-commercial license to stream content. You may NOT download, rip, record, decrypt, reverse engineer, publicly broadcast, or redistribute any media from our platform.
5. Service Availability & Streaming Quality
Streaming fidelity automatically adapts based on your device capabilities and internet bandwidth (Adaptive Bitrate HLS). We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free transmission during scheduled maintenance or ISP downtime.
6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in New Delhi, India.
